Honey Glazed Easter Ham

Honey Glazed Easter Ham Recipe

Recipe 1

Ingredients
  • 4 lb boneless Ham (completely cooked)
  • 1 can (12 oz.) Lemon-lime Soda
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • ½ tsp Mustard
  • ½ tsp Cloves (ground)
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon (ground)
Instructions
  • Put ham and lemon-lime soda into a crock pot.
  • Cover it and cook on low temperature for 6 to 8 hours (for high temperature, 3 to 4 hours are sufficient).
  • Combine honey, mustard, cloves, cinnamon and 3 tbsp drippings from the bottom of the crock pot, 30 minutes before serving.
  • Spread the glaze over ham and continue cooking.
  • Finally, let ham stand for 15 minutes before serving.

Ingredients
  • 1 (8 to 10 lb.) boneless, smoked Ham (cooked)
  • ½ cup Honey
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup Bourbon
  • 1 to 2 tbsp minced fresh Jalapeño Pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 tsp dry Mustard
  • 1 tsp Cloves (ground)
  • 8 to 15 whole Cloves
Instructions
  • Heat the smoked ham as per the directions on the package.
  • Remove the ham from the oven 30 minutes before it is done.
  • Make slits on the outside of the ham, using a sharp knife. Make diamond patterns ¼-inch deep and 1 inch apart.
  • Mix together honey, brown sugar, bourbon, jalapeno pepper, dry mustard and ground cloves.
  • Brush the mixture over the slits.
  • Stick a whole clove in the center of each diamond.
  • Bake the ham for 30 minutes. Baste with the glaze frequently while baking.
  • Allow the ham to stand at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
