Homemade Easter Spaghetti Sauce Recipes

Recipe 1

  • 2 to 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ½ Green Pepper (diced)
  • ½ Onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (smashed)
  • 2 large Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • ½ cup Red/ White Wine  
  • ½ cup Cream/ Milk
  • Spices of your choice (oregano, basil, etc.)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet till water crackles.
  • Add green pepper, onion, garlic and tomatoes. Mix and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add tomato sauce, wine and cream. Stir well.  
  • To add flavor, spray it with oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
  • Finally, turn off the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Your delicious spaghetti sauce is ready to be served. Serve over pasta.
Recipe 2

  • 2 to 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 medium Onions
  • 1 medium Green Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 1 can (6 ounces) Tomato Paste
  • 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced or crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried Leaf Oregano
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet.
  • Add onions, green pepper and garlic. Sauté until tender.
  • Add salt, pepper, tomato paste, tomatoes and oregano. Mix well.
  • Simmer the mixture for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
  • Serve with hot cooked and drained spaghetti.
